The philosophy of presence

The photographs I seek are rarely planned. I’m drawn to what exists without performance moments that ask for nothing and unfold on their own. Presence, for me, is the discipline of waiting rather than directing. By observing with patience, I hope to preserve not only what was seen, but the quiet honesty of how it felt.
